We look forward to welcoming you to our snow-covered winter mountains in Tux-Finkenberg. Our top priority is the safety and health of all employees and guests. All guidelines and measures regarding Covid-19 are strictly adhered to and must be taken into account by each individual.
The most important thing is of course the personal responsibility of each individual.
We have summarized the most important and most frequent questions about the measures in autumn and winter 2020/21 and behavior on the mountain here and are constantly updated:
A mask is required in the following places:
Please always have mouth and nose protection with you and use it if the prescribed minimum distance from other people cannot be maintained.
In addition to the scheduled trips from Vorderlanersbach to Hintertux and back (20-minute intervals in autumn, 10-minute intervals in winter), additional buses are used at peak times in the mornings and afternoons to reduce the number of people. You can find the current timetables here.
In addition to the conventional face mask, multifunctional cloths, ski masks, bandanas, tubular cloths, etc. are also used as face and nose protection. It is important that the mouth and nose are completely covered.
Free mouth and nose protection is available on request at the cash registers and lift stations. In addition, a "glacier tube cloth" can be purchased for € 3 at the ticket offices of the valley station.
The ski and pedestrian tickets can easily be purchased on site at the cash desks. There are enough cash registers open every day so that there are no / hardly any waiting times. The tickets can also be bought at our two ticket machines. It is also possible to buy the tickets online in advance and collect them from the pick-up machine. You can find the online ticket shop here.
The distance rule states that a minimum distance of 1 m must be observed. There are corresponding floor markings in the waiting area in front of the ticket offices at the valley station and in the waiting areas of the lifts. If possible, the minimum distance must also be maintained in the cable car cabins / gondolas. If the prescribed minimum distance from other people is not observed, the mask requirement applies. However, personal responsibility in terms of keeping your distance plays a major role.
Use off-peak times:
We know from our experience that, especially in autumn, many training teams go up the mountain in the morning. In order to get from the parking lot to the slopes more or less "direttissima" and relaxed, we recommend an ascent from 8.45 am.
This also applies to the restaurants:
If you plan your lunch break by 11:30 or after 14:00, you will definitely be spoiled for choice of seats. You also have the option of reserving a table in advance.
Since reopening, we have been operating with full gondola capacity and are trying to offer our guests the fastest possible access to the slopes. Nevertheless, the following applies to waiting areas: "Chill instead of jostling"
When the weather permits, the windows in the cable cars are open to ensure good ventilation.
Please follow the recommendations of conduct and also the instructions of our employees, especially with regard to the applicable hygiene regulations.
If possible, make use of cashless payment.
If you have symptoms that could indicate a possible Covid-19 infection, please stay in your accommodation and contact the reception of your accommodation provider or a doctor immediately.
Protect your health and the health of your fellow human beings.
If you have any questions about slope conditions, amounts of fresh snow, etc., please contact by phone or find out more on our website.
