Tandem flight

You don’t have a pilot’s licence but want to see the world from up high? No problem: trained pilots can take another person with them on a tandem flight adventure. Well-trained pilots can even fly all manoeuvres with a passenger – even acrobatic flights!

Tandem flight: There’s the perfect flight for everyone from the baby flight to a long-distance flight – regardless of whether you’re an adrenaline junkie or a jovial holiday aviator. The average prices for a tandem flight in Zillertal are from € 100,00 to € 160,00. Enjoy an extended flight with mountain panorama depending on the weather conditions. Enquire with the Zillertal pilots.

Learn to paraglide

You prefer to take over the pulley strings yourself? Your flight school in Tux-Finkenberg offers

  • Beginners’ courses
  • Refresher courses
  • Thermal lift training
  • Tandem courses
  • Long-distance courses …

Our tip: Participate in a paragliding trial course. Here you will gain a perfect insight into the fascinating world of flying – which is also very entertaining for company or club trips. This course is credited against all further courses!

Up high – well dressed!

When lifting off, it’s key that you’re protected against wind, cold and solar radiation by proper clothing.

  • Warm, windproof textiles – the higher you go, the colder it is!
  • Sturdy shoes – for landing
  • Possibly gloves for finger protection

Ensure that you have WARM clothing especially during winter flights.

Afraid of heights? As if…

Funnily enough, you DO NOT need to have a head for heights for paragliding. People suffering from vertigo report that, when safely strapped into the harness, they don’t feel like they could fall as opposed to, say, standing at the edge of a cliff. You are in safe hands during a tandem flight and can enjoy the panoramas that the Tyrolean Alps have to offer.
Please note that paragliding is regarded as being a higher-risk sport.

Paragliding in summer

Warm winds and sunrays not only lift up the paraglider, but also make your heart skip a beat. The unique view of Zillertal is unforgettable – out-glide the eagles between sunny hills. Even teenagers can lift off during their summer holiday and take home many impressions from Tux-Finkenberg.
