The highlight Ski- and Glacier world Zillertal 3000, unites the ski resorts Hintertuxer Glacier, Eggalm, Rastkogel, Finkenberg with the Penken/Mayrhofen and Ahorn to a world of fun-on-the slopes and overwhelming panoramic views. From the beginning of December to mid-April, snow is guaranteed and 204 kilometres of perfectly groomed slopes make the heart of every winter sports enthusiast beat faster. “Faster, higher, further” you can reach amazing heights at altitudes of up to 3,250 m above sea level.
From the challenging and varied Eggalm to the sunny plateau of the Rastkogel, continued by a breath-taking panoramic run down or convenient with the 150 Tux cable car to the “entertainment district” of the Penken with its Vans Penken Park and the famous Harakiri-downhill run, gastronomic diversity such as other adventurous highlights are provided.

Glacier bug Luis takes you to the Kidsslope and Funslope in Hintertux. The parcours offers two big tunnels made of snow, a wave track and of course: Glacier bug Luis! In Pepi’s Children's Club at the Granatalm, children can romp, play and have fun under professional supervision. A walk through a deep snow-covered winter landscape around Tux-Finkenberg is just the right thing to relax and enjoy the fresh air! 68 kilometres of winter hiking trails are waiting to be explored! Weather permitting - even with fresh snow they are cleared or gritted and perfectly suitable for a walk. The tourist office Tux-Finkenberg in the Tux-Center as well as the office in Finkenberg will be happy to give you winter hiking tips and information about the trails.
Not only the slopes are a true experience in Tuxertal. Ice skating and curling offer plenty of variety. Compelling each other in curling or pirouetting over the ice together - it's really fun! For night owls there's the possibility to do your rounds on the illuminated ice rink or to practice curling.
Passionated cross-country skiers and skaters will find an extensive offer on routes. 14 km of classic cross-country ski trails and 14 km of skating trails irom Tux-Vorderlanersbach to Madseit. The trails are free of charge and prepared by the Tourist office Tux-Finkenberg
