Arrival to Tuxertal

We would like to make your arrival as uncomplicated and stress-free as possible. We have therefore compiled some important information and links for you that could be useful if you are traveling by car:

How to get here:

• From Munich/Salzburg/Vienna on the A1, A8 and A93 to Kiefersfelden. Continue on the A12 (highway vignette!) to the Zillertal exit. Then take the B169 into the Zillertal and on to Finkenberg and Tux.
• Vorarlberg/Innsbruck on the A12 to the Zillertal exit. Continue on the B169 into the Zillertal and as far as Finkenberg and Tux.

Tips:

• If you don't already have an Austrian vignette for the highway, you can easily buy one online. This is digital and can also be purchased for 1 or 10 days.

ASFINAG

• Please use the highway and not toll avoidance routes - there may be long waiting times due to congestion. Traffic management measures are also used to protect local residents. These can also delay your journey.
• Check your navigation device - check whether the "Toll-free" or "Avoid toll roads" option is deactivated on your navigation device. Otherwise, you will always be directed to secondary routes and can only start your vacation later.
• Find out about the current traffic situation. To get to your accommodation safely and without problems, you can use the route planner with traffic information from ASFINAG.
