10th regular guest week

From June 29 to July 7, 2024, Tux-Finkenberg celebrates decades of solidarity together with loyal guests.

The Regular Guest Week has been a fixture in Tux-Finkenberg for years and has developed into a very special event over the years. Every four years, this special week gives us the opportunity to celebrate the close bond between our loyal regular guests and their dedicated hosts. The Regular Guest Week is an expression of the friendship between guests and hosts and is therefore a valuable asset that we cherish.

Saturday, June 29, 2024:

• Bergfreuer Tux
  At the start of the Regular Guest Week 2024, we welcome our friends from near and far with a mountain bonfire visible from afar (weather permitting). 

Sunday, June 30, 2024:

• Ceremonial opening in Tux
  The village square in Tux-Lanersbach is transformed into an inviting festival area as part of the official opening ceremony of the anniversary regulars' week . A great atmosphere, fun and music are guaranteed during a hearty morning pint. Of course, culinary delights from the region are also provided.
• Village adventure street
  Experience acrobats, dancers and musicians populating the streets and squares of Tux-Lanersbach. The colorful hustle and bustle invites you to watch and join in.

Monday, July 01, 2024:

• Eggalm mountain pasture hiking day
  With delicacies and live music , the Tuxertal invites its regular guests to a summer retreat on the mountain pasture. After a free ride on the Eggalm cable car, a colorful array of culinary and musical delights awaits mountain lovers at the huts. Of course, the cozy mountain huts can also be reached on an invigorating hike across the sunny slopes of the Tux mountains or by (e)-mountainbike.
• A look behind the scenes
  The Tux volunteer fire department and the Tux branch of the Red Cross proudly present the new operations center in Tux-Vorderlanersbach. You can also take a look behind the scenes at various craft and commercial enterprises.

Tuesday, July 02, 2024:

• The fascination of the glacier
  Take a look behind the scenes of the Hintertux Glacier with all its technical masterpieces that have contributed to the development of the glacier at the "Open Day " on the Hintertux Glacier. During guided tours , you will learn exciting facts about the world of eternal ice, the Nature`s Ice Palace and the Spannagel Cave. There is also a colorful festival program with live music and lots of entertainment.
• Finkenberg delicacy festival
  The delicacy festival at the new music pavilion in Finkenberg is a festival for connoisseurs. Specialties such as Zillertaler Krapfen, Melchermuas, Kasnudeln, Schweinebraten, Zillertal Ofenleber and much more are served at the stands.
• Honoring the regular guests in Finkenberg
  The delicacy festival in Finkenberg forms the festive setting for the big tribute to regular guests, with which the tourism region thanks its long-standing and loyal guests.
• Gala concert by the Bundesmusikkapelle Tux
  A special highlight for all music lovers is the gala concert of the Bundesmusikkapelle Tux. The musicians delight with a colorful bouquet of melodies ranging from classical and traditional brass music to modern pieces.

Wednesday, July 03, 2024:

• Star hike and mountain devotion on the Penkenjoch
  The middle of the regular guest week is traditionally dominated by the star hike to the Penkenjoch. During the hike, which starts from different starting points in the valley, everyone meets at a common destination, the Granat Chapel on the Penkenjoch. The crowning finale is the mountain devotion with Pastor Edi Niederwieser. Afterwards, a festival with lots of music, entertainment and culinary delights awaits hikers of all ages on the mountain.
• Premiere of the Volksbühne Tux
  The members of the Volksbühne Tux invite you to the premiere of their new play in the Tux-Center in Tux-Lanersbach. The comedy "Der Meisterboxer" will not leave a dry eye in the house and of course there will be plenty of laughter.

Thursday, July 04, 2024:

• Tour of the dam wall and nature park house
  During the tour of the dam wall at the Schlegeis reservoir, you have the opportunity to look inside this impressive structure and learn about the background to power generation in the Alps. A visit to the new Nature Park House in Ginzling is just as exciting. The "Hidden Treasures" exhibition takes you on a unique journey through the geological history of the Zillertal Alps and shows the sparkling crystal treasures that have been formed over millions of years inside the mountains.
• Gala concert of the Bundesmusikkapelle Finkenberg
  The Bundesmusikkapelle Finkenberg celebrates its centenary in 2024. The musicians have prepared a varied and entertaining program for the big gala concert as part of the 10th Regular Guest Week, which all music lovers can look forward to.
• Honoring the regular guests in Tux
  Our regular guests are the perfect ambassadors of Tux-Finkenberg all over the world and are honored at the festive regular guest ceremony in the Tux-Center. A heartfelt thank you from the entire vacation region to its loyal regular guests.
• 3rd regular guest golf tournament
  After the great success of previous editions, the third edition of the Tux-Finkenberg regular guest golf tournament is taking place this year at the Uderns golf course in the Zillertal. The 18-hole championship course is one of the most beautiful in the Alps and offers a magnificent view of the surrounding mountains of the Zillertal.

Friday, July 05, 2024:

• Grand gala evening in Hintertux
  Even at the first Tux-Finkenberg Regular Guest Week in 1988, the gala evening was the emotional highlight of this very special time. The anniversary Regular Guest Week will be no different. The many regular guests and their hosts celebrate the end of an unforgettable week together in the magnificently decorated marquee. An evening with an outstanding gourmet menu, great show acts, varied music and many, many wonderful moments.

Saturday, July 06 and Sunday, July 07, 2024:

• Time of rest and farewell
  There is still a lot to experience in the vacation home of Tux-Finkenberg. We wish all those making the journey home a safe journey and look forward to seeing you again in good health.
