While elsewhere green meadows are still waiting for winter or the ski season is already coming to an end, the Hintertux Glacier offers consistently excellent snow conditions from autumn until well into spring thanks to its unique altitude of up to 3,250 metres. 64 kilometres of perfectly groomed slopes, state-of-the-art lifts, top-class cuisine and a panorama stretching as far as the Großglockner make the glacier one of the best ski resorts in the world. Freestylers celebrate their season highlights in autumn and spring at Betterpark Hintertux. The panoramic terrace at 3,250 metres offers a 360° view of the surrounding high mountains, with the majestic Olperer as a striking landmark.

Family fun in the snow

Children feel like they are in a winter wonderland in Tux-Finkenberg. Ski schools offer courses for all age groups. Pepi's Kinderland and the Eggalm Children's Park are sure to put smiles on everyone's faces. Luis the glacier bug accompanies the youngest visitors on the fun slope, kids' slope and in the Hintertux bug park. In bad weather, the Playarena – a 1,200 m² indoor play park with a climbing wall, hockey table and creative rooms – is a real highlight for children. Parents can sit back and relax or get active themselves.

Winter away from the slopes

Tux-Finkenberg shows that winter is more than just skiing. 68 kilometres of cleared winter hiking trails, snow-covered landscapes, guided snowshoe tours and romantic horse-drawn sleigh rides invite you to consciously enjoy winter. Cross-country skiers will also find perfect conditions on 32 kilometres of trails – including panoramic views and fresh mountain air. Things get more exciting with night tobogganing on the two illuminated natural toboggan runs. Here, winter shows itself as it should be: fresh, clear, quiet and powerful.
