Austria’s longest ski season on the Hintertux Glacier
While many other ski resorts are still waiting for their season to begin or have already closed for the year, skiers are still carving their turns on the Hintertux Glacier. Reaching an altitude of 3,250 metres, the ski area provides ideal conditions for an exceptionally long ski season, from autumn until well into spring.
With 64 kilometres of pistes, modern lift facilities, excellent mountain restaurants and breathtaking views across the Zillertal Alps, every day on the slopes is an alpine experience. The Betterpark Hintertux is particularly popular with freestyle skiers and snowboarders in autumn and spring. And from the panoramic terrace at 3,250 metres, a spectacular 360-degree view opens up across the surrounding high-alpine landscape, with the distinctive Olperer peak as an impressive landmark.
Great food, cosy mountain huts & Tyrolean hospitality
More than 30 mountain huts and over 50 restaurants offer an enticing culinary variety – from traditional Tyrolean specialities to contemporary Alpine cuisine. Whether you prefer rustic and cosy or modern with panoramic views, there is a perfect place for everyone to stop, relax and refuel after a memorable day in the mountains.
Family fun in the snow
