At 1st Advent Sunday it’s time again for the Tuxer Advent for Families at the village square in Tux-Lanersbach from 3.00 p.m.
At 29th November 2020 (1st Advent Sunday) it’s time again! When the first snowflakes start covering the villages of Tux and Finkenberg, our hearts beat faster. Then soon it’s Santa- and Christmas time! We feel calm and gentle and get together in the warm front room close to the tiled stove. Christmas like in old times, is hard to find, but in Tux-Finkenberg you can still find it! Christmassy decorated booths offer traditional culinary treats such as Punsch, Glühwein, tea or coffee.
Or take a bit of “Advent” home, for example: Advent wreaths, Christmas decoration of all kind, home baked biscuits or “Doggln” (traditional house shoes). In the late afternoon, at dusk, the Hole Santa Claus will visit the village accompanied by his helpers. During the afternoon stroll along the Christmassy decorated booths in the town hall, where you can find a variety of local treats such as biscuits, Glühwein, Punsch, chestnuts, Christmas bread among others. “Doggln”, Advent wreaths, Christmas decoration and other lovely gifts made of wood.
Zitherist Andreas Erber in the town hall!
