Aquarellhappening TUX

Every year, since summer 2000, artists have been invited to Tux, Austria for some mountain walking and artist work.
Artists from all over the world are invited to spend some relaxing days or weeks in the Alps of Austria. They can spend their time painting, taking photographs, writing, filming or drawing while exploring the cultural environment of the are (history, tourism, architecture, landscape,...)

Artworks will be exhibited at an event in the Mehlerhaus (a small cultural museum built in 17th century in Tux, Tyrol, Austria) with local dishes and drinks being served at the beginning or middle of September. It is a wonderful way to meet local people an participating artists, away from the city life in the breathtaking landscape of the Austrian Alps.

Artists are being asked to leave one work behind to feature in the growing collection of the Aquarellhappening Tux.
The Aquarellhappening has been founded by Christian Stock, born in Tux, lives and works in Vienna.
Exhibition Assistants:
Christoph Grubauer artist, born in Brasil, lives and works in Vienna. Olivia Gürtler artist, born in Innsbruck, lives and works in Glasgow.
